As of January 2nd, you can register for summer camp at the Y. The ages and dates are extended this year so there is something for almost everyone. Fine Food for a Cause -- Save the Date!
On Monday, January 30, 2012 from 6:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m. at 203 Studios, the Stamford Family YMCA will host Fine Food for a Cause featuring signature dishes of top local chefs and restaurants. The event will benefit programs supporting the fight against childhood obesity.Click here for more details.
Lunch Break! Ball till you Fall!
Mon-Fri 11:30-1:30pm pick up OFFICIATED lunchtime basketball. PAUL McCRACKEN, former NBA (Houston Rockets & Chicago Bulls) is the Official and he's got his whistle ready, score clock is set, so plan to spend your lunch hour in our new Ball till you FALL program. FREE for members, $5 drop in fee for non members. No sign up necessary.

Childwatch and Member Hours
While you're in the building working out, members can use our ChildWatch babysitting program Mon-Fri from 6-8:30pm. Please sign up at the front desk (or call us and we'll register you) 24 hours in advance. The cost is $5 per child for 90 minutes. PLEASE NOTE that our new Child policy is that no child under the age of 18 may be in the building after 8:30pm unless they are participating in a Stamford Family YMCA program like a Teen Time event. This policy is effective as of June 27th.
My Y is Every Y
Have you heard about the new YMCA RECIPROCITY agreement? As a Y member you now have free access to 76 YMCA's in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont when you present your Stamford Family YMCA card. Through "My Y is Every Y", full facility/full privilege members have access rights to all YMCAs in New England. Some restrictions may apply depending on the YMCA, so members are encouraged to check with the Y they plan to visit ahead of time to learn the specifics.
Locker Rooms
We're pleased to announce that our boys & girls locker rooms are operational. For all children under 18 and not in college please use the children's locker rooms. The men & women's locker rooms are for adults over 18.
